Starfish PBX aims to be an open source alternative to Digium’s Switchvox. The goal is to have a software equivalent to which we can add additional functionality.

Starfish post "Since I noticed a lot of people interested in a Freeswitch web interface reathed that another Asterisk one I decided to write some proof of concept code that shows how easely the interface can be ported to use another backend." 

Digium is releasing three updated Switchvox Appliances, the AA65, AA305, and the AA355. The new appliances replace, for Switchvox SMB, the older AA60, AA300, and AA350 appliances. The new appliances feature updated Digium branding to match the current release version of Switchvox SMB; a front-mounted LCD panel eliminating the need for a keyboard and monitor at initial system setup; and, in the case of the AA65, a completely new chassis design with internal AC/DC power supply.
